Bauer Hockey (also known as Nike Bauer) started producing goalie equipment in the 1990's. They now produce two lines the RX and Supreme lines of goalie pads. The Bauer RX leg pad line has a greater selection, including youth and junior sizes, and aimed at hybrid style goalies which are designed to adapt to any style of play.. The Bauer Supreme leg pads are built for the goalie looking for superior blocking and coverage in a lightweight flexible pad.
NHL goalie Tomas Vokoun, Miikka Kiprusoff and Henrik Lundqvist all wear Bauer goalie equipment.
